If you just have a Kogan modem connected to the phone line (for FTTN and FTTB connections)
1. Connect your phone line to the DSL port (far right) of the modem
2. Light number 2 below should be flashing or solid
- If not flashing, please reply to your email ticket stating that DSL light is not flashing
- If solid, check that light 3
below is on:
- If it is on, your internet should be working
- If it is not on, please follow the steps below
- If flashing, please follow the steps below
3. Connect to the wifi of the modem (ideally the 5GHZ wifi for faster connection) or connect an ethernet cable from any of the LAN (or yellow) ports of the modem to the Ethernet port of a computer
4. Open a browser and Type 192.168.1.1 or tplinkmodem.net on the address bar of the browser and press enter
5. Either type your password or create a password
6. Go to the Advanced tab on the top of your screen
7. Click on network on the left hand side of your screen and choose DSL Internet
8. Click on “Delete All” on the top right corner of the screen, ensuring the table below is empty
9. Click on “Add” on the top right corner of the screen
10. Ensure setting is set to VDSL
11. Ensure VLAN ID is NOT ENABLED
12. Ensure Internet Connection Type is: “Dynamic IP “ (for other routers it may be called IPoE)
13. Click on Save
14. Check the modem

below should be solid
- If flashing, please reply to your email ticket stating that DSL is not working
- If solid, check that light 3
below is on:
- If it is on, your internet should be working
- If it is not, please reply to your email ticket stating that DSL light is on but internet is not working
